Researchers from the universities of Pittsburgh and Wyoming examine a part of the Allen Cook ranch recently donated to the University of Pittsburgh for research. The ranch property features cretaceous rock formations preservibg dinosaur fossils, high-plains grassland ecology and interesting tectonic geology for study by the students and faculty of Pittsburg, the University of Wyoming and the Carnegie Museum.
