The sun rises over the "hoodoos" of Bryce Canyon National Park in southern Utah. The odd limestone formations erode out of the cliffs in the area, and gain their red, orange and yellow colors from oxidizing minerals in the stone. Hiker Paul Orosz, of Denver, gazes on the sight.
