Brazil's Three Kings Celebration

A young boy dressed as one the three kings from the Orient waits to dance with brothers and friends during the Folia de Reis, or Revelry of Kings, in Três Pontas, Brazil. One of Brazil’s oldest folk religious festivals, the Folia de Reis takes place on the Feast of the Epiphany, Jan. 6, in the small towns of the interior. Costumed groups parade door to door collecting alms and refreshments.
